Wednesday Walker Spotlight – Kinsella

Wednesday Walker Spotlight – Kinsella by Chris Scott

Hello Walkers!! We are down to the wire, and are just about ready to touch down on the moon!! We need everybody to really kick in those steps so that we can make it to our goal.
This week’s Spotlight Walker comes to us from The Rockin’ Weebles. I’d like for everybody to meet Kinsella. Kinsella is married and lives in Japan, where she is and English teacher at a Junior College. Here is her story…
“Hello, my name is Kinsella. On my daily walks I usually take it slow so I can take it all in. It is my chance to appreciate beauty found in my own neighborhood, like these beautiful Wisteria.

Sometimes I even get to take Walking My AS off to a higher plane. This is beautiful Kakegawa castle with its many historical sights (It was built 500 years ago), flower gardens and steps!

Walking for AS has been truly edifying so far! Who knows where in time and space my steps will take me next. Keep stepping!”

Thanks for sharing your story and the great pictures with us Kinsella!

Chris Scott was diagnosed with Psoriatic Spondylitis in 1999 and he’s been waging a war on AS since. When Chris received the diagnosis, he went to work to find out everything he could about this AS & he works along side his Rheumatologist, hounding him about new drugs and therapies. AS finally forced Chris to leave his job as a Firefighter/Paramedic in 2009. Since that time, he’s come across many, many wonderful people and has had the pleasure of meeting several ASer’s at various AS Events around the Mid West and Canada. Chris writes our Wednesday Walker spotlight.
